OPTICALLY CLEAR ENCAPSULATION
Allows maximum solar radiation to reach solar cells for greatest efficiency compared to Thermal Glass or Thin Films (PET, ETFE).
UV RESISTANT ENCAPSULATION
No yellowing over lifetime; no cracking or flaking compared to Epoxy Resin or PET Thin Films.
FIRE RETARDANT MATERIALS
Spark resistant, will self extinguish compared to Thin Films (PET, ETFE) and laminate adhesives (EVA) and backsheets.
Panel surface will recover from bruises, dents, and light abrasion within two hours under sunlight.
Encapsulant remains flexible allowing solar cells, electrical circuit, and connections to move under broad temperature ranges and resist vibration and blunt force.
TOTALLY WATERPROOF ENCAPSULATION
Industrial polymer forms a totally waterproof barrier protecting solar cells and all other electrical parts. With no moisture penetration points the panel is waterproof to 100+ meters depth and 100psi of sustained water pressure.
